Fandoms are a funny thing

I've never found a place, real or cyber, that I fit better then bandom. Love everyone i've met through bandom.
But if bandom is my home, other fandoms are like vacations.
my brief flirtation with AI slash was like a weekend trip upstate.
Star Trek, which is where I'm being pulled at the moment, was my very very first fandom (at like, age 10. lol, lame Emmy). Being pulled back into it is like going to spend the month at gradma's.
'cept it's not liked flirting with other fandoms actually takes me out of bandom.... but whatever. that's my analogy for the day.
(ps, look at my "fandom not!bands" tag. hahah. silly emmy)
